It's about Cash App. I've never used it and after reading this I never will. Paypal still don't have phone contact, and I have been unable to speak to anyone via email or text for 10 days. I hate paypal. I hate the scammer more, but that's not the point. I pay the fees to be protected. I'm not, because they have zero customer service, and could not care less. I'm amazed they are still in business. They were back up for about 16 hours - could not get through queue. Phone icon now gone off Paypal Australia (Phillipines) again yesterday and today. I'll try again Monday. Sick of it tbh. Surely it can't be hard to have a system whereby a tracking number is auto-checked and when shown as 'delivered' - issue the damn refund. I'm waiting for the "They sent me a dead cat back, and not my comics" defence. The books.... These look 'never read' to you? I've never seen an option to use either one when I pay for an item. I'd drop PP in a heartbeat if I knew it wasn't going to hamstring me in any way. When the auction closes the seller contacts you for an invoice . You send them an invoice through stripe or square and it's a done deal . Ebay allows for sellers to have buyers email address to complete payment . And they accept and allow either per their TOS . Once you get rid of PayPal you will never go back . fastballspecial Posted October 4, 2020 Share Posted October 4, 2020 I will say this again for paypal users that use their phone or other unsecured areas. Stop doing that your phone is not secure. Create a separate stand along checking account to link to your paypal account. When you transfer the money to your account withdraw it or make sure the account is not linked to others. You want to limit your exposure as best you can. Keep a low balance in your paypal account when it gets larger transfer it out. They have branches around the world mate! Paypal Australia is based in the Phillipines. Anyhoo....after 1 hr and 25 minutes of music, someone answered. My refund is done and dusted.
