Cover slid up on book. Need advice please.

Hello, I recently bought this two-pack (hidden below) in order to get the JLA 70 4th print.  It's the best copy I have found except for some indents from the shrink-wrap and the cover is slid up slightly on the book.  I am fairly certain the indents will press out but I'm not sure how to handle this cover issue.  I've included images of the top and bottom of the book as well as the staples.  I've looked at the staples through a loupe and the cover doesn't appear to be torn.

I've never seen a book with the cover alignment off like this and my question is whether CCS would fix something like this when they press it?  Anyone know how something like this affects the grade... is this a manufacturing defect along the lines of a bindery chip, or something else?  My guess is that it happened when it was shrink-wrapped back in the '90's but I don't know for sure.

I appreciate any advice!  I thought about trying to just slide the cover back up before submission, but to be honest, whenever I try something like that it never ends well.

Are there tears around the staples?

Hello, thanks for the reply!  I tried to get the best pics I could, was a little hard to get it in focus.  There does appear to be a slightly open area at the top of the staple but it doesn't look (to me) like a tear, more of a void where the cover slid up.  I am by no means an expert, which is why I am asking the question, but it looks like it may slide right back down without being able to tell it ever slid up.  Appreciate your opinion!

I don't see an issue with getting everything aligned again.

UPDATE: I sent the book through CCS and got the grade today... 9.6. So close!  I now have three 9.6’s of this book that I submitted  (shrug)  Here are pics of the pack the book came in.  I sent the Superman 76 in as well and it got 9.8.  Was really hoping this duo would both be 9.8’s.

I’ll post pics of the JLA 70 4th when it arrives to show how CCS did with the cover.  If it looks good I will probably resubmit.
