THE_BEYONDER
Australian newsstand variant? An 8.0 sold for $60 at the end of January https://www.ebay.ca/itm/174603515442 Edited February 20, 2021 by THE_BEYONDER oldmilwaukee6er
GeeksAreMyPeeps
Looks like an Australian edition. There are no copies of this on the CGC census, I'm guessing because they're not particularly common. Not a clue on the value, just "whatever someone is willing to pay for it." But since this is a key issue, I think that there would be plenty of people interested. Get it pressed and graded if you're looking to sell. Lightning55
Why is it Spawn 7 in Australia and the same issue is Spawn 9 in the US? What issues did the Aussies skip to get to this story in only 7 issues?

It could be they had oversized issues that reprinted multiple issues Lightning55

Comicspriceguide shows that the covers for 1 & 3 match the U.S. edition, but the cover art for 5 is the art for 6 in the U.S., so either 4 or 5 would be one of the issues, if they skipped issues, and then either 7 or 8 (assuming they printed the story that originally matched up with the cover art). The one guy who wanted to spend real money on that book might now have it. On the other hand, there might be 10 who want to spend $50 on a raw NM copy... Printing still means printing and distribution still means distribution. I'm not saying all of those books were printed at the same time as the regular edition, because I have no idea. I don't collect or own any of that . But that has nothing to do with the subject of this thread.
The Less Blob
It is worth what its worth whether a reprint, a variant, whatever. Outside of Deadpool Rookie cards and X-Men 1 Omega Red sketch art where prices have no connection to supply, the market is still excited about perceived rarity for whatever reason.
