Popular Post KirbyJack
The title is too important not to have its own place to showcase every glorious issue. I’m a low grade collector generally speaking, so the bar is starting pretty low! mec3437, Spider-Variant, mysterymachine and 9 others

Popular Post Jasonmorris1000000
I've got all the Byrne and Cockrum issues but these are the only ones I've scanned so far. The X-Men were my ex-wife's favorite and she was a grade snob. Even though she bought raw copies she would scrutinize them closely before buying them and would not let me read them. Smart move on her part. I'd be willing to bet some of them are 9.8's. I haven't talked to her in 8 years. I hope she didn't sell them back then. She also has an X-Men #1 that I bought her as a gift in 2008. Just 13 years ago it was $1000 if you can believe it. That one has gone nuts. Jasonmorris1000000
The first Byrne X-Men's. I used to have a pristine copy of Iron Fist #14 but sold it years and years ago unfortunately. I don't even have a beat up copy these days. mec3437, Morganmi, Tghutcn and 1 other

Jasonmorris1000000
High grade copies of this one go for crazy money these days. I remember reading it as a kid and thinking "So that's what Wolverine looks like without his mask!" Popular Post rexinnih
I'm so glad that I made an effort to work on a complete 94 - 143 (decided to stop when Byrne left) and a few scattered keys after that. It's a run I've completed (nearly) and sold off (stupidly) multiple times. I may be priced out now; the books I've posted above might be it for me unless I find more below-market readers. Popular Post jimjum12
Just got this from Sweet Lou ... love this cover. I used to consider this solidly in the Copper Age ... but I think general consensus now is a 1984 cut-off ... I suppose George Orwell would be OK with that. GOD BLESS.,.. -jimbo(a friend of jesus) mec3437, Jasonmorris1000000, ADAMANTIUM and 7 others

Brock
These all bring back memories... I had a goal of collecting every appearance of the New X-Men. Back then, that might have been 200 books - now, it would probably be 20,000. I remember going through Fantaco's X-Men Chronicles in 1982 to make a full list. Back then, the tough books were thing like The Uncanny X-Men at the State Fair of Texas, which was a whopping $15 in the guides, and incredibly hard to find for me in Canada. Flash forward 40 years, and its probably worth less than I paid back then... Jasonmorris1000000, comic_memories, KirbyJack and 1 other
Popular Post The Less Blob
I kind of think the few actual team appearances of the x-men between #66 and GS X-Men 1 are a bit overlooked, not the solo appearances by x-men members, but the actual team showing up, 3 members at least. I always liked this one.. yes, it is mostly just banshee, but the team shows up toward the end and it starts a few issues where the team is involved. There weren't many bona fide x-men appearances for about 6 years there. Chaos_in_Canada, mec3437, Tghutcn and 4 others
