Hmmmm. Looks better than a 6.5. What's wrong with it?

???

The grader notes:

light bends to cover
light creasing to cover
light spine stress lines breaks color
small, light stain right center of front cover

Not visible in the scan is an area on the front cover just under the CCA stamp to the middle of the text block "Ruler of the Bewitched Valley", that has light finger bend creasing. Without that I could see this book at 7.0 or 7.5

The only book I have doubles of is Batman #113. I still am on the hunt for a better copy than what I have, but these two are decent enough for a book I have trouble tracking down in general.

I keep trying to get this book, and it keeps going higher and higher...

I got very lucky and won my first copy along with Batman #197 in an auction for $150.

The second copy I got from a local convention as the show was closing for $120 down from $145.

Based on the prices I have seen on eBay and some other auction sites, I consider myself lucky to get them at the price I did even if the condition isn't awesome. Some auctions on eBay are going for $100-$200 more and aren't as good from what I can tell from the pictures provided.

Those are great grabs! The Zur en arrh Batman is one of my favorites (especially since Grant Morrison did his take on it), and it's cool to see him get a resurgence in the modern books. I got the (hard-ish to find) Morrison Black Casebook TPB, the excellent Tony Daniel Batman 679 variant and all of the recent modern Zur en arrh covers. Now I need to luck into a good price on a copy of 113!

Best of luck!

That 679 variant is great.

And I am with you -- this version of Batman is a favorite of mine, too. In fact, my silver age and golden age collecting of Batman and Detective Comics is based on the issues referenced in The Black Casebook or other issues Morrison pulled from in their run.

I personally passed because i have other priority but the condition of this book was looking satisfying for me. What about you? Are you looking for an high copy?

** Just been sold for 250, as i seen on the ebay database, the books was sold 1 month ago but relisted, i assume it wasnt paid by the buyer... the past sale was over 400!

I'm not looking for a high grade copy, but I have other priorities now also, so I can wait on this book. That copy would have been fine for me in that condition though.

Got these as part of a larger FB Marketplace lot buy today:

This one unfortunately has a big chunk of the back cover missing, but the centerfold pin-up is intact. She looks great in Mylar.
