A duck walks into a bar, sits at the stool and asks the bartender if he has any grapes?

The bartender explains this is a bar and we only serve alcohol.

The next day the duck walks into the bar, sits on the stool and asks for grapes. The bartender says, "I told you yesterday we don't serve grapes".

The next day the duck walks into the bar, sits on the stool, and asks the bartender for grapes.

The bartender says, "we don't serve grapes. If you ask me one more time I'm going to nail your beak to the bar".

The next day the duck walks into the bar and asks the bartender if he has a hammer? The bartender says, "NO".

Then the duck says "in that case do you have any grapes?"

I know that wasn't the correct response to your thread but it was my first thought after reading your thread.

Wonder Woman asks for one of their World's Finest cocktails and the bartender says that that drink is not for women, but that Batman and Superman can have one if they like.

Batman (with much bravado) then asks for 200 of them and the bartender says that he can only have 196

Superman (always the show off) asks for 400 of their World's Finest cocktails and the bartender hesitates and says that he may only serve 322 to Supes.

Wonder Woman (who is high and dry by this point) asks for one of the houses World's Best cocktails and, once again, the bartender says that women may not partake but that Batman and Superman may have 1 and only 1 each.

Wonder Woman (now irate) orders the next best drink which is, apparently, a Sensation. She orders 116 of them - the bartender hesitates and pours her 109 - he then pulls 3 back giving her a total of 106 and says that that is the best he can do.

I will up the ante and give 2 yay.gifyay.gif to the person who figures out why the bartender is such a jerk.

A guy with a duck on his head walks into a doctor's office.

The doctor looks up and says, "Can I help you?"

The duck says, "Yeah, get this guy off my @ss!"

Well, if he gave supes 323, that would have been the last issue. And....he didn't want to do that.

As far as the Sensation drinks, the 107th, 108th and 109th drink were rare...and all he had was 106 anyway.

Batman...who regularly appeared only until 196, had a drink for each one up until then. Or....if the bartender gave him 197...he would have had to make it a giant size. smirk.gif

Brave and the Bold had 200 issues. (the total Batman drank.)

World's Finest had 323 issues. (the total Superman drank.)

Sensation had 109 issues, but the last 3 were without WW. (the total Wonder Woman drank.)

Ok folks - here are the numbers as I see them....

World's Finest ran 323 issues but there was no #1 issue (it was called World's Best) - thus,

* Superman (who was in all 322) was served 322 of the bar's World's Finest cocktail

* Batman asked for 200 (confusing the World's Finest cocktail with one meant only for the Brave and the Bold) - The barkeep knew that Batman shared the spotlight with Superman until issue 197 so he gave him 196 of his World's Finest cocktails (again, there was not a #1 issue so Batman was docked 1 cocktail)

* Clearly, both Batman and Superman rated a World's Best cocktail on the house

* See above for Wonder Woman's Sensational drinking expoits (nice job on that deathlok thumbsup2.gif )

I hope this was at least somewhat amusing. confused-smiley-013.gif

Except Batman did share the title World's Finest with Superman after issue 197.

In issues 202, 207, 211, 215-243, 281-323.

Deathlok - true, very true indeed. However, remember when I said the bartender was a jerk - well, in his opinion, as soon as Batman was thrown to the curb in issue #198 - he then became a vistor in Superman's comic from then on and thus no more drinks for him after 197 (even if he helped Supes save the day in nearly 100 more issues! Like I said, the barkeep is a jerk.

Maybey Batman was a bad tipper and deseved what he got.

With his attitude and his "IM BATMAN DAMMIT"attitude he deserved to be kicked out. Modern Age Batman is a wimp
