If you're not selling the Av#8 (or any of them), I don't see a need to spend the money to slab. I leave mine raw in a Mylite2/FB combo and it looks great. If I were going to submit the book, I'd probably do a clean & press. It's hard to tell for sure without the book in hand, but you have some marvel chipping on the cover edges (C & P won't help that) There might be some indentations toward the bottom edge that might press out.
