This one will certainly break some hearts. Grades ranged from 2.0 to 7.5... that's a pretty wide range! I get it though, it's hard to know what to do with a chew like that on a nice-looking book. I was hoping for somewhere in the 6s as it's otherwise so sharp and the chew is hard to see... but alas. Still, only copy on the census, or it was last time I checked.
 

Does it matter what animal makes the chew marks?

The rate chew threw me for a loop! I had 3.5!!!!

You got @thirdgreenhamlucky on TEC 359 no way that should be a 4.5! I was gonna say 4.0.......

You also got the GA bump for the last one! That's a 2.5 all day long!

We'll, the first book in the contest I was off by 1.0. The rest have been spot on or off by 0.5. I'm thrilled. Thanks to Overstreet Grading, PGM, HA pics, eBay pics and the opinions of others. Grading is fun when you can't afford (or refuse to pay) for books in today's market.

Funny thing is I thought maybe 3.0 on the last 

But didn't have the guts and went 2.5

Haha really blew it that round, left the door open for sure. My rat/insect chew experience was not at a high enough level.
