For me, one thing that did change (thanks @comicdonna for spear heading this) is the editing of posts that are older than a year...but only for another year.  1 + 1= 11.....I mean two!!!  So two years to edit a post.  This is a huge benefit for me especially because of my 90 plus page active sales thread.  I try to keep my sales threads cleaned up and informative, but I wasn't able to do that when I couldn't even change the title name.  Suggestion received, suggestion implemented.

Now, if we can just get rid of the HTTP errors.  I've limited my sales thread postings to mid-afternoon or later because I don't know when the site will go down and interrupt my work.  When that happens, I lose interest in working on my threads...I become unmotivated.  Bummer!!!

Maybe they should impose a typed character limit per day?

I actually sort of like this idea, but would open it up to too much abuse. 

People see someone is on the verge of a vacation or ban so they take it upon themselves to push that individual to try to get them gone.
