This one has been throwing me off. It looks high grade at quick glance, but the closer you look there can be some issues. Glossy, complete, lays flat. Pages look off white. I think the back cover has the most issues, just because they are easier to see with the black color. How high, or I guess low, would you grade this?20211013_230126.thumb.jpg.271551fdbd855fe8fbcfac9da73f82b7.jpg

Thanks for the input everyone! I was hoping it was above 8.5, but I do agree with everyone's takes here

The bc color rub may ultimately keep this copy from getting anything higher than 8.5, even with a good clean and press. You just never know

Welcome to the Board.

I have ASM #300 CGC 8.5 White Pages.

The front cover is nice.

The back cover has some telltale defects included two light NCB creases on top and lower right corner on the back cover.  There are 16 tiny spine stress lines and one tiny tear from the lower staple.

Here is the grader's notes

Grader Notes:
crease left bottom of back cover
crease right top of back cover
light spine stress lines to cover

To be honest with you, I don't think it will go beyond 8.0.  You have some creases around the edges of BC. Maybe 7.5 at worst.

I count 6 spine ticks between front and back cover. At least 1 maybe 2 don’t break color, so pressing may be beneficial.

The rubbing / scuffing is what is going to hold this down. I don’t think you can be in the 9.0 range or higher with that defect. I think as is it is VF range (7.5/8.0) and could improve to VF+ range (8.5).

If it’s just for your collection, it presents very well and would look great in a Mylar
