This will be my first ever show, so needless to say that I'm pretty excited.  I'll be there tomorrow evening and Sunday with my kids and will take some pics.

I stopped by earlier today. Seems like the show space was much smaller with a lot of the non comic/toy/cosplay dealers no longer on the main floor. Hopefully everyone does well.

I'll be across the street on Saturday at the Crowne Plaze hotel for a one day show.

Here are a couple of pics from this evening.  I spent about a little less than 2 hrs as I had to work and my daughter was hungry so we left early.  The show wasn't crowded at all tonight, but the exhibit hall was pretty large.  Here's the entrance where you pick up your badge.  The next pic is the beginning of the exhibit hall.

Yep. Also I’m not attempting to steal any thunder from Fan Expo just answering queries from board folk on what’s happening in one small area the same weekend.

Yesterday, around 5PM (an hour after opening to the public), a guy was caught stealing comics from several dealers and escorted away by security.

Unfortunately there has been a lot of theft recently at this venue over the years, I think this is the first one caught with so much. I think GuardianComics helped catch the last one but my memory might be wrong 

Plus I think it’s important for everyone to be made aware of this - I might go ahead and start a thread in CG about it
