This Saturday September 21st marks the return of the Lehigh Valley Toy Comics and cards show. Held at the very spacious Charles Chrin Community Center in Palmer Pennsylvania. Hours 10 to 2. I think admission is $10 per person. Early birds are from 8 to 10 and pay extra for the advantage of getting first shot. Parking is free and plentiful. It is a big complex. Please note this is mainly a TOY show. There were a handful of vendors spread throughout the building with funny books at the last one in the spring time. Website for the promoter and for more info can be found by going to valleygoto.com.

This is the return of the Frederick Maryland comic con after a few months off. This Sunday July 21. Held in the super huge ballroom of the Clarion hotel which sits behind the Francis Scott Key mall. Hours 10 to 4. I think there is an early bird admission for an extra cost. You can check out the promoters website for more info including the list of fantastic dealers who come from far away places such as Ohio and NJ along with the main core being from Maryland itself. shoffpromotions.com is the site. Click on the dealers tab to see who is setting up. I know several boardies come to everyone. Try to make this one as the next con in the area won’t be until November.

This Sunday March 17 is the DC’s area favorite comic and card con in Annandale, VA. Located at the fire hall off of Columbia pike. Hours 10 to 3. I know boardies and other fine folks come from all different areas each show. This is a show with vendors only. No guests or cosplay. This show is quite large held in the 5500 square foot showplace at the back of the fire company. Two thirds comic books and one third cards. Also supplies for both comics and cards from one dealer there for one stop shopping at his massive setup. Admission is $3 per person and cash only at the door. Click on the dealers tab on the promoters website. Which is shoffpromotions.com. Next week on March 24 will be the tri-annual Frederick comic con. There hasn’t been a con there since November so I know mainly of the locals will be lining up. This show also has guest artists and several cosplayers. Along with another massive dealers room. Put on by the same promoter so you can check out his website for more info. The dealers tab won’t be updated until after this weekends event comes to a close. Admission is ten dollars and cash only day of the show.

Coming up soon is the annual Old School comic book show put on by Little Giant Comics at the Everett Arena in Concord, NH. Very solid guest list along with an amazing dealer line up. Vendors from across the USA setup here selling, buying and sometimes trading with the thousands of fans who attend. Only comic books plus related merchandise. No pops or other pop culture merchandise. Comics from a dollar to thousands of dollars will be available. I believe the website for more info for you readers is oldschoolcomicbookshow.com. Who’s attending? A couple auction houses along with great dealers including Harley Yee, Terrys Comics all the way from a 4 day one way drive from the West Coast, Richie from Florida, Basement Comics from MD, Heroes and also J & S from NC, Reeces Rare Comics, Derek from NJ along with Zapp Comics. Plus many other quality dealers from the New England area. There should also be evening activities both Friday and Saturday for those coming from a distance away.

Rumor has it Comic Cellar picked up an original owner underground collection if you are into that sort of thing. Also for odd ball items Al from Basement Comics digs up some interesting gems. Along with Jason Hamlin.

Any dealer list available? I dug around the con website and didn’t find any.

Renningers Antique and farmers market is locally famous and collectors and pickers alike have been shopping there for years and years. Their branch in Kutztown Pennsylvania will be hosting a small comic show this Saturday July 15th. This is the first time the area has had a comic event. Hours 9 AM to 1 PM and admission is FREE. NO early birds please as we won’t have much time to setup and some will still be getting ready when the doors open at 9. I think this is a sleeper so if within a hours drive stop on by. There will be some current hot books along with bargain bins but the emphasis is on vintage material. Street address is- 740 Noble Street Kutztown, PA

Philadelphia Comic-Con June 18, 2023 -- Fathers Love Comics!
Comicshows replied to RCheli's topic in Comic Events
Heard the next one is July 30 and due to overwhelming demand the dealers room is already sold out! looking forward to it. Bought well but sales were a little soft for me. Some dealers did great though. Beautiful weather and the holiday I think occupied some of the regular faces I didn’t see this time.
