Stevemmg
I think I would go for the 1,000 at $19. And I would in fact like immediate delivery. littledoom and TheBook 1

Buzzetta
That's right where Heartland Brewery used to be. I miss Union Square Heartland Brewery. I also miss the one at the corner of the ESB Chaz G. and onlyweaknesskryptonite

Remaindered books has their covers removed. In theory, those were supposed to be destroyed, but they very frequently were not. By 1942 it was pretty easy to get bulk quantities of remaindered books. Obviously, this was a better deal. ttfitz and Larryw7
jdandns
I ordered the 100 count deal. Unfortunately, it was all "Mickey Finn". 1950's war comics and kav

Ken Aldred
Back then, even the classic keys would’ve been considered Modern drek rather than Golden in any way.
Ken Aldred
Another more unethical possibility would’ve been exploiting wartime paper drives to acquire comics for nothing, and then selling them off in cheap bundles. goldust40 and Larryw7
1950's war comics
i didn't know anything about Mickey Finn comics so i looked some up #1 (1942) is for sale on eBay by Mycomicshop 5.0 for only #140 and there is only a couple sold issues on eBay.. , a three comic lot of 7.9 and 10 in VG sold for only $12.88 they are still basically worthless even as old as they are and it wouldn't surprise me if that was the comic one received 99 out of the 100 of from the ad !!, FoggyNelson

shadroch
Imagine being able to ship 1,000 comics for $19.95. Thats at least three long boxes, although I'm not sure if the comic box had been invented yet. littledoom

If you have to mail that request to them... it kind of "kills" the immediate part. I'm seeing a stack with every back issue of Mickey Finn, with one Superman and one Batman... possibly a Tough Kid Squad #1 thrown on top. GOD BLESS.... -jimbo(a friend of jesus)
