Yep, that's one of two paintings purchased from Theo.  Definitely a grail Shadow and from what I've heard was one of Rozen's favorites, but not a recent acquisition.  

My other George Rozen Shadow painting ...covering the first half of June '42... was acquired more recently from Anthony Tollin who turned out the licensed reprints (two per issue) starting in 2008.

colors on the original are so much richer than it printed, even assuming the pulp might have changed some over time. amazing painting!

Almost embarrassed to post this one. But, that has never stopped me before. 

Such a beater but got it in a collection many years ago. Thought about dumping it several times but such a classic and hasn’t been posted yet.
