Hamlet
They are currently making more comic movies and shows than I am interested in seeing. I watched Shang-Chi and Black Widow on Disney+ over the holiday weekend and I frankly got a little bored. I think the movies themselves were fine, but I’m just tired of the Marvel superhero movie formula at this point. If I’m reaching the point where I’m tired of these movies and shows, I gotta think that the average movie viewer can’t be far behind. Is anyone else thinking along these lines? theCapraAegagrus, Randall Dowling, chrisco37 and 1 other
Randall Dowling
Agreed, the formula is way overused at this point. You and I have discussed this more than once but I don't think it's going to change until they get punished at the box office. Also, glad you're getting caught up on the movies! GreatCaesarsGhost
I was born tired of them. I’ve seen maybe 5 out of, what, 75? The Lions Den, TupennyConan and Randall Dowling 2
Ken Aldred
Apart from Eternals, no real interest whatsoever this year. Definitely waning. Randall Dowling and TupennyConan
Popular Post chrisco37
Looking forward to Spidey and Batman. But that's because I love those 2 characters. Saw Shang Chi and Eternals recently and could have done without either of them. Definitely feeling a bit burnt out on the lesser characters. My daughter still likes them, so I'll probably have to watch whatever else Marvel puts out that she wants to see. But I don't really have any interest in them at this point. paperheart
Due to pandemic + retirement, i've watched/re-watched 200+ movies in the past 20 months; the only CBM i've seen (to my regret) is TSS; have not been tempted to watch or re-watch any other. jsilverjanet
Plenty of other movies to see I love how HBO max has a large selection of criterion collection movies watched La Strada (saw it many years ago) the other night the marvel formula is a Disney formula used on all their movies do not expect this to change theCapraAegagrus

Galen130
Once Disney took over the MCU, I lost interest. I'll still watch the next Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy, but I haven't seen anything since Avengers: Endgame. That was the end of the story for me...so to speak. I'm not even sure if I'll pay attention to any upcoming DC movies. It's a money grab, in my opinion. Kind of pathetic.... TupennyConan
I'm not tired, though FAWS, BW, & SC wore me out. Randall Dowling
Popular Post dover
I found myself rejuvenated with the low camera angles in BW. I felt as if I was in the movie, being rejected and watching her walk away. So far, she has left me 462 times. chrisco37, silverseeker, Joshua33 and 6 others

Chaz G.
I am not tired, yet. A few have been clunkers, but overall they make me feel like a kid again. dover, Juno Beach, zuckuss2003 and 1 other
Chief1332
Directors and Editors are so important to a movie. I haven't seen a movie in the theatre since 2009. But I'm looking forward to the next Spidey movie.
ThothAmon
Can’t agree with the most of the sentiments echoed so far. When you also factor in wandavision and Loki the MCU is developing lots of characters I frankly ignored when I was a kid buying comics. The reimagined movies, while often irritatingly preachy are still fun to watch. Juno Beach and TupennyConan

Popular Post @therealsilvermane
You mean is anyone else tired of the MCU? I'm not. Give me more please. And judging by the MCU's pandemic box office numbers, Disney+ premium streaming numbers for Black Widow, and the viewership numbers for every Disney+ show so far, I think a lot of people feel the same way. greggy, AGGIEZ, paperheart and 3 others 3
