Gregd
Tell me about Hell-Rider magazines. I see there are 2 issues. Are these common? Sought after? Just wondering if it’s one to keep an eye out for oakman29

Popular Post Amazing Spidey
Always considered Hell Rider a Ghost Rider prototype. Same creator (Gary Friedrich). I do have the CBA issue that formed the initial basis for the book, though: I've got a copy of that book also, great read! Anyway, after seeing your copy I pulled it back out and was reading the Wrightson Interview. I've always felt it was somewhat disrespectful to classify all of Wrightsons work after the Frankenstein pieces as lesser quality (although that's exactly what I do). It was refreshing to read his take on the subject: CBA: If I can be frank here: One of the perceptions I had was that you pored your heart and soul into Frankenstein—you almost sweat blood—and you made it drop-dead, gorgeous. It was the best work you had done up until that time. Subsequently.... Bernie: Nothing's been as good? CBA: Nothing's been as good. Gregd
Some “older” issues I saw were Monsters and Things and Monster Parade. They looked nice. Are there any 1950s/early 60s mags in this genre that are more desirable than others?
Jayman
Only have this one, from @jimjum12 I think. These are harder to find in nice shape. This one has Matt Fox artwork inside! Artifiction, batmiesta, oakman29 and 1 other

Gregd
What do you guys recommend as far as stands for displaying magazines (slabs or raw)? Thinking of putting an issue on my desk at home to pretty up the office a little (and rotating it from week to week). I want something that’s going to be stable, and I see a variety of small plastic easel stands.
This is Who We Are
For those just starting out (and seasoned as well), I wanted to pull up a link to a thread originally posted by NERV. All credit to the original poster and to those who added their wisdom. I recall there being a great thread on skywalds, but alas, it eludes me... I’ve got what I feel is one heck of a special archived thread... HUGE thanks to Bounty Coder when he started this many moons ago and to those who offered their wisdom. I hope you’ll agree that its contents needed to be pulled from the crypt to once again see the light of day👍🏻... horrorfan70
Have people had generally good experiences buying Creepy/Eerie magazines on the boards here? It seems the auction houses and comic dealers don't have many of these magazines so much of the buying would have to be here or Ebay. On some of the recent sales threads I've watched the big Frazetta covers have sold quickly. jimjum12, This is Who We Are, oakman29 and 1 other

Popular Post Gregd
I’ll find out soon- bought a ton of raw books off the boards recently. 😂😂 But there are a bunch of people I trust here, and when they recommend sellers, then I feel comfortable. Also has been pretty iffy on eBay. My developing but still inadequate grading skills can still see most of the mags there claimed as NM are no where near that. I get you want the best price, but some of these sales are shady and dishonest. Artifiction, Randall Dowling, oakman29 and 2 others
