Is it really just the angle of the photograph making it look like it's spine has totally shifted since the November auction, without its serial number changing?

This.

You just predicted the future.

Kang will destroy the MCU. He will make Maximus look like Loki. But… that guy who does the Thor comedies will read Avengers 141-144 and then make an Avengers movie (new line-up) where they fight a Justice League parody, Patsy Walker gets a cat costume and acts campy, aaaand…. a bunch of cowboys get brought into the MCU, with Two-Gun Kid’s mask and the Ghost Rider giving them the patina of superheroes. Hawkeye and Two-Gun Kid becomes a huge series on Disney+. Then Disney brings the western back with the 5 Marvel cowboys from the Avengers flick.

Stock up now; ya heard it here.

appears as if  someone pressed the out of this copy...the wrap is no bueno

Sad to say, but really nothing more than incestuous conflict of interest in play here for all to see which was what we all expected anyways when CCG first brought out Classics Incorporated and took it under their umbrella in the form of CCS.  (tsk)

So much for Borock's original contention back in the day that books with defects caused by improper pressing would be downgraded accordingly.  Looks like we've now reached the other side of the pendulum that books are now being downgraded if they don't show any signs of additional revenue pressing work being done on them.  This is regardless if it's in the form of post-production pressing damage such as this copy of Avengers 8 here, with badly spinal damaged books like this which are now pretty much being given a free pass in fear of losing future revenues going forward.    :censored:

What’s your guys thoughts on top dollar for this 9.4?

Does it really even matter much on books that's gone sky high due to movie hype and speculation?  (shrug)

Especially in many cases, by the time you send your copies in and get them back from the boys at CGC, the movie will be long gone and done by then, with the books having already done the almost full round trip back down in valuation to almost where it started from.  :taptaptap:  :taptaptap:  :censored:
