bapowell
Hi all, This book is in excellent shape. Bottom left corner of FC has what looks like a small scrape (not a tear); I see one spine tick. Corners are sharp. Tiny (~1mm) tear 2/3 way down leading edge of BC. The trouble is with the double bend/crease starting at the middle top of the FC and passing down diagonally through the 'L' in 'HULK'. I was able to mostly press the bend out, though it's still evident if the angle is right, and the crease shows up with a light color-break. Wondering what you all think this does to the grade. Thanks for looking! Galen130

Christophe9999
IMO 9.0 - 9.2. I looked at my copy to compare and you already mentioned the issues on the front but I see additional on the back. On the upper right corner it looks like there's some color rub in the blacks. Also on the left side parallel to the guy's knees there's color breaking creases. Plus the blunted corners and I'm leaning more 9.0 than 9.2. I added a pic of mine to compare. grendelbo
8.0 IMO that color-breaking crease, despite the press, is it's major flaw and unacceptable in the NM range. Thanks for posting.

There seems to be considerable disagreement! I'm debating sending this one in, but only if it has a chance of grading out at 8.5 or higher. I might pass... Funnybooks
my $.02 disregarding the crease for a moment, the front wrap appears 9.4 but this copy overall appears imho 8.0 without the crease... However, the back wrap is where the problems are... all four corners are soft, the left edge has that very evident color breaking crease and tear and some generalized color rub At this point, the crease may not even factor into the grade as much or may even slightly drag the grade down from here with all this said, CGc will probably grade this copy 9.0 and I'll go hide in the corner Edited January 15, 2022 by Funnybooks grendelbo, frozentundraguy and Point Five 2

frozentundraguy
After looking at the book, and before looking at others comments I was thinking 8.0 Funnybooks, grendelbo and Point Five
Point Five
I agree with 7.5, possible 8.0. The crease in such a prominent place with bits of color broken; scuff LLC and light corner/edge wear. None of it helpful to break VF, IMO. grendelbo, frozentundraguy and Funnybooks

KCOComics
I feel like 7.5 is a little too harsh for how nice looking this book is. Still, that crease, coupled with the other issues probably takes it out of the NM range. I'll go 8.0 and on a good day 8.5 frozentundraguy, grendelbo, Funnybooks and 1 other

Galen130
8.0 tops. Even the lax grading at CGC these days can’t ignore how much that crease stands out, unfortunately. Funnybooks and grendelbo
