Can you help me remove a sticker stain from this 1st issue? 1 1

Hi. As a kid I purchased Justice League #1 (1987) off the wall from an LCS. When I got it home I realized the little round sticker I'd seen was actually on the inside of the bag and I removed it. Anyway it left a mark. See a picture below. Can I do anything about it now? Any suggestions on how to fix or lighten it will be appreciated and acted upon. I'll post the results in this thread in the future. Will the fact it's mostly on a white area help? Thanks

If it were any other issue number it could be removed easily and would look like it was never there. However on 1st issue's sticker residue presents an insurmountable challenge. 

 

IMHO given the book is readily available, keep the one you have for the memories and pick up a high grade copy for the collection while they are reasonably priced.

OK. Was hoping for some magic remedy like rub it with a little methylated spirits or something. Anyway thanks for the responses
