This is really miscut. It looks like an 8.0+ at least if it wasn't so out of whack. Not sure how CGC would grade it.

I believe they'll ignore the miscut as it was factory manufactured that way.

8.0 to 8.5. The mis-wrap I don’t think is gonna be a factor. Very nice book.

I have seen many books with Mis-wraps like this go 9.4 or higher. The graders will not jump to any conclusions based on the wrap, especially books from 1968/69 as those years were horrible for QC. 
 

9.0 seems about right.

The combination of small defects with the small lower front cover corner crease stops it from being 9.2. The miss-wrap does not impact the grade unless it has been trimmed.

So, just for those interested, I bought the book and will submit it myself. 
gonna be interesting to see the final analysis.  

I’ll fast track it, but we are still likely 4+ months away from the results.
