If you appreciate that cover, and I suspect we all do, he did a cover of Rainbow, from DNAgents that will float your boat. I'm not sure if it was a one shot or in the regular series run.  Total cheesecake.

So when did a classic cover become worth more than a first appearance? The cheapest CGC 9.0 ASM #316 right now is $230 with 15 watchers, a 9.0 #299 is on for more than $50 less and doesn’t have enough watchers for eBay to tout it. Personally, I’d rather have the first full reveal of Venom in story than his first full cover appearance over a year later.
