Good morning,

Thank you for your message.  Yes, as long as the order was delivered by the cut off date then there is no problem.  Generally, there are at minimum a few weeks if not much longer between the cut off date and the actual signing date to allow us time to open and log in all the submissions for a particular signing.

Thank you!

A month later and there is still no date on when the signing will be.  Is there any update on this?  Also waiting for the sigining to take place or at least the site to be updated.

CGC can probably comment better, but it seems like most signings take place 3-4 months after the cutoff date (and the schedule is finalized AFTER CGC knows exactly how many books are going to be signed), and a lot of times they don't make big announcements about it.  You can probably check the social media of cgc or the creator and maybe you'll get more info.  It doesn't seem like they send out specific emails or notifications unless something goes significantly awry.  Understandably people care about their valuable collectibles, but if you're sure CGC has your books, just count on the fact that they want your money and will get you your signed books back eventually.  Forget about them for 4-7 months and be happy when they turn up at your house.  If they go way longer than the agreed upon waiting time that CGC advertised (go back and read the specific terms), maybe then contact customer service directly and let them know you're unhappy.  But otherwise, set it and forget it.  Watching the clock won't make any of it faster or more fun.

Hello, we don't have a set date yet for this signing, unfortunately.  For signings that we know will be very popular with a huge amount of submissions, we generally will announce those farther in advance of the actual signing.  This allows us time to get all of those orders received opened and prepared for the signing.  Also, there can be delays with signings depending on the artist's schedule.  Hopefully, we will have more details about when this signing will take place very soon.  We do appreciate your patience on this!

Thank you!

Hello,

Any update on this?  It's about to be July and I haven't seen anything.

Thank you!

your best bet will be to keep an eye on CGC’s social media sites, they typically post pictures or videos of the signing … that will be your best way of knowing if a signing event has taken place
