If you had to pick just one, what cover do you think is Simon & Kirby’s masterpiece?

or Alex Schomburg’s? Or LB Cole’s? Or Matt Baker’s? Maurice Whitman’s? Bob Kane’s?

Any artist you can think of, just pick one.  I’m not looking necessarily for the highest value book per OPG.  Maybe the one cover you consider to be a masterpiece is on a low value book.

I know people will have different opinions on this, and that’s good. There’s no right or wrong answer.  I really want to know your own opinion.

here are a few of my picks:

for Alex Schomburg, it’s gotta be Cap 37

what do you think?

You have great books!

... The *amazing* sense of scale, the detail and the zipatone effect really put that one over the top for me.

I waver between 213 and 214 but I have to give the edge to 213.
