Looking for a specific comic… Spawn 1
1 1

9 posts in this topic

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a comic I had back in 1997. It was Spawn #1 signed by Todd McFarlane and Michael Jai White. Todd signed under the logo and Michael signed on the bottom left.  I had to sell it back in 1997 due to a family issue. I sold it to Geoffrey’s Comics in Torrance.
If you have seen it or own it, I am looking to reclaim it. Please pm me with details.

Thank you!

It was the regular cover. I don’t think it would be too impossible. Unless it was destroyed, it has either stayed with 1 buyer or exchanged a few hands. It is not registered in CBCS so it is not slabbed.

It depends on additional factors. What's the price point? You're likely gonna have to convince its current owner with a lot of money to let go of it. You might have to pay someone to broker a deal, too.

Not trying to be snarky, but is there a reason the price tag is so high on these two sigs? I’m sure MJW isn’t much of a con-goer, but a McFarlane sig is quite a bit more common than a BWS or Frazetta signature.

or is the value in the odds of having these two guys sign at the same time?
