I have a really nice copy of this issue I bought from an ad in the CBG around late 80’s. I paid $5 for it and it arrived in a plain manila envelope with no backing board or bag. I can’t believe it survived the trip like that! :facepalm:

I'm very impressed with @Hepcat and @Silver 's books.  You guys really go for the high quality.  Most of my early DCs were bought at the store or from friends for about a nickel each.  I wasn't concerned about condition then.  I have not sought to upgrade all those yet, although I have upgraded a few of the worst.  Here's a few of my nicer Lois Lane's...all purchased as back issues in the last 5 years or so.
