The inner guts of the slab draws my eye, not the actual item. 

Plus the "seal" in the middle isn't even parallel to the rest of the slab - the whole thing looks cheap.

Yes, though it was intended as a double entendre targeting CGC's oft-lamented lack of customer service...that their support infrastructure is a joke and so is the support structure in that slab.

The book was probably too thick and heavy to be done like this though:
