BUT no worries... The house is now worth 168% of what I bought it at based on local sales over the last three years and it is already more than halfway paid off. I put a LOT down. I am locked in at a much lower interest rate than anyone can currently get. Selling the book pales in comparison to what I would have missed out on if I did not buy the house. That's why I laugh. At the end of the day it is newsprint. Eventually the rest will be sold to pay for a nice vacation home somewhere. Same here, sold a ton of books years ago for the down payment, got a ton of equity with a recent sale.
