It has to be a reprint or a incorrect back photo as this is what the back of the SA book is. Clearly not a pimple ad unless there's something I don't know about Norman Rockwell lol

I'm not sure about the >9.0 with a modern comic. That back cover has some scuffing/color rub in the black along the spine and several spine ticks. I'm thinking more like an 8.0

Definitely the JC Penney second print. I have one, too. Still a beautiful book but it’s a quarter century newer than an original.

Assuming that OP is legit, under what circumstances would an experienced collector mistake an in-hand 1994 issue for one from 1968, particularly when he's already acquired thirty of the original?

I've heard of many new collectors not knowing the book they bought was a reprint.
