RobHW
I am most curious about the gentle, pressable crease on the back of the book running near the left edge from top to bottom. I think this book would get a nice bump from a press. It has like-new gloss. I am the original owner having bought it off the newstand myself, and I've treated it with the utmost care. There are two spine ticks by Ben's foot, and one that is very hard to see in the blue circle. There is a pinhole size piece out along the bottom edge of the back. I'm interested in thoughts for both as-is and if-pressed. Thanks! Edited August 24, 2022 by RobHW Added pictures. Galen130
scburdet
I think you're right on the pressing, but I speak without authority. To me, with pressing this is 9.2±0.2. The little dents probably won't disappear completely. There's a little something showing around the top edge of the back cover, but it looks like it could be overspray? JRibble
9.0 and a press will take out that whole bend in the spine.

grendelbo
7.5/8.0 C&P for 9.2. Thanks for posting.
RobHW
Thanks for the feedback. I'm encouraged to see that the grades I had in mind line up with the judgements others have made. I felt pretty confident in thinking a press would result in a 9.2 grade. The unpressed grade is kind of tricky since the book looks great at first glance but there are imperfections. I finally decided it would grade as an 8.0. Thanks again for the help! grendelbo
