I love this series but it is the poster child for being plagued by lateness.  This was supposed to be a monthly series  and for the the first half it was.

But issue 7 was 2 months late.

#9 was a month late.

#10 3 months late

#11 3 months late

And #12 was a whopping 8 months late.

 

Issue 1 was cover dated Dec 1982. # 12 was dated Apr 1985. I was in the 11th grade when issue #1 came out. I was finishing up my first semester of college when it finally finished.
