My LCS is selling the variant for $9.99. I don't usually buy variants. Is that a decent price, or too much?

Maybe, but when you get jacked for $3 or more on shipping, it's probably going to work out to about the same anyways. I'd say give the brick and mortar store the dough, provided they're good people.

I went ahead and paid the $9.95. He'd jacked it up to $15 by the time I got there, but he gave it to me for the price he'd quoted me on the phone.

My LCS had it priced at $7.99, but it came down to < 7 with the discount. Couldn't pass it up at that price.

my LCS had it at $9.95 already in a bag with an official sticker on th eback that he said came with the book. Does DC do this?

Same at my LCS. I put the book in a mylar, and stuck the sticker on the back of the backing board.

That's odd. But I guess we don't really see many limited variants from DC. If Marvel did that, they'd go bankrupt purchasing/printing the stickers due to the sheer number of them they'd need.
