Maybe they are meant for each other?

Imagine waking up to that each morning.

GR: I REALLLLY WANT TO EAT SOMETHING SPARKLY.

JG: But I have to create more wonderful stories from my amazing mind.

GR: I WANT IT NOW OR I'LL POST ABOUT YOU ON TWITTER.

JG: I'll just have to straighten you out with my amazing wit and beautiful mind.

While this project sounds considerably worse than say...a simple solo Superman story...

I'll be happy to see Edi Gathegi again.

He nailed one of the best scenes in a really good film - Gone Baby Gone:

Gunn being terminally online is going to hurt DC.

Have you been around for the last decade? DC is already hurt.

Based on the enthusiasm of most (..ahem…..) DC fans, I would say Gunn is going to heal DC.

Keep repeating that. It will wish it into reality.

Which previous DCEU creatives pestered people on a regular basis?

At least time will tell.   One thing is for certain. The Snyderverse will NOT return no matter how much you repeat it.

I read what you are saying (and believing).

Nah - we can do both.

Because Gunn would have to work *hard* for his DC Universe to suck as hard as the Snyderverse did...but so far he seems determined to try.

I know it's really too soon to tell, but the choices he's announced seem baffling.

Even Nathan Fillion - love the guy, but who is excited to see a 53 year-old Guy Gardner?

The whole basis of his character is his immaturity and temper. Hard to envision in someone deep into middle age, even if (wink wink) that's the point.

Ugh.

The whataboutism isn't going to deflect Gunn's earned criticism, though. It's a pointless, trolling endeavor at this point.

But where's the fun in that for some on here repeating for the hundredth time "why I blame Snyder for everything"?

I don't think that Bosco - or anyone else here - is suggesting that the "Snyderverse" will return? Instead of making it about Gunn vs Snyder, why can't we simply criticize Gunn for his own, isolated words/actions?

Fortunately, we are not the ones 'reliving the dislike' of 2010s-2020s DC films so as to convey excitement for anything new. Like that is a requirement to share people are interesting in new content, they have to carp on the old content.
