I'm so glad a little ct doesn't bother me. I needed one of these, so it made sense financially to go purple. All books for the pc get cracked out, so it won't stick out.

My modest entry in this thread. I bought this book back in 2016. Shortly after, when placing the book in a mylar sleeve, a piece of the cover came loose.  A subsequent search for a better copy did not turn up anything so I finally submitted it for grading last year.

I have more than a few restored books, but these are the ones I won in the Berk Auction (while everyone else was busy buying the Mile Highs;)

Yeah, it's very early SA.    But it's one of the most difficult DCs from the early post-code period to find in high grade.  Besides, the price was right!

I'll add this one for a little comic relief.  A long time ago, an amateur restorer decided to "work" on this book.  Pieces were added, it was trimmed, cleaned, and a load of other stuff was done, but he drew the line at color touch.
