It's a shame to hear the recent (but unsurprising) news about Vince McMahon. For me, WrestleMania VI was the peak of professional wrestling. How could they ever top the first Heavyweight Champion vs. Intercontinental Champion match in WrestleMania history?! Though I may be biased as a once rabid Hulkamaniac who was 7 years old and in attendance at Skydome with my Dad for the match!

Sad news about Billy Jack Haynes being arrested for his wife's death.  He was among the last circuit wrestlers who refused to tie himself to one promotion. He'd have been huge in that era of WWWF if he'd stuck around.

I honestly have to say, the best IC Champion in the LONGEST is Gunther. 

I would have liked to have seen at some point Roman v Gunther with both holding their respective titles.  However it looks like Cody finishes the story in about sixty days.

Still wishing we got to see a two month buildup between Punk and Rollins.  Now, supposedly Rollins' contract is up in the air shortly after Mania and he is probably going under the knife at some point anyway due to nagging injuries. 

It should make a great return though for both when they come back.  In the meantime it is good that WWE is making use of Punk in some way as they did at the press conference for mania.
