Turner is a popular artist so it will likely add a couple bucks to a raw sale, If you want it authenticated/slabbed you would need to use the "other guys".

Thanks. Will CGC just ignore it? Or would it be considered a flaw/defacement?

You’d get a green label (qualified) unless you ask to grade with the blue label (universal). If green, they’ll note the signature as writing on the cover. If blue, I think they grade it as a flaw/defacement. But really depends on your goal. If just to encapsulate and keep, not sure it matters. If looking to sell at some point, a green label tends to be valued less than a blue or yellow label.

Won't it depend on if the signature is on cover vs on page, too?

OK so they recognize it's not the same as a kid drawing a mask on Superman with a marker, but not that it's signed.

CGC will absolutely not verify an unwitnessed signature.

The Gen13 book is a green label 9.8. If it were to be a blue label, it would be docked due to ink on the cover, most likely making it a 9.0 blue universal, with notes stating there is ink on the cover
