Yes, but just maybe the tall Texan has a much more higher affordability theshold level than the rest of us poor old boardies here.

darn.Very very sad news to come back to.edit--I HAVE been away a long time as this is way way belated but my sad is still very much the same.

He was always so kind and humble to me and just warm and friendly from our first interaction here,encouraging and radiating a real true love and passion for comics I could feel out loud.

After a few interactions with him,mostly him saying a kind word about a post of mine and 'here's mine' I realized just what a massive huge collector and part of fandom he was and it blew me away I was getting to 'hang' without pretense.

I can't find the words to do justice but imagine he is in a wonderful comic book heaven with neverending joy

This copy of Grendel #2 is on sale. Unfortunately, it is from the collection of "John Berk".

If I did happen to pick this up, would CGC fix the label as ME? Would this notation add a premium to the book? Or is there really another John Berk out there and I'm just seriously out of my territory here?

Yes.  Anyone can send in a ME for label errors.  You do not have to be the submitter, and there is no time limit.  His name is misspelled.
