Ok, I posted a recap on page 1, sold most of the books so far but there's some pretty cool books still on there and I am always open to offers, especially on multiples.  I should be back this afternoon for some more and definitely will be tonight

Ok, I'm going to get this train rolling again. I haven't posted Science Fiction yet so I'm going to run off a nice section of it for those who appreciate it. I've got a bunch of Heinlein and Asimov as well as a bunch of the 40's-50's classic titles so hope you enjoy it.

 

The Green Hills of Earth by Robert Heinlein    Signet #943  First Printing       July 1952     $25

Very nice copy of the 1st pb with the awesome Stanley Meltzoff cover art. Tough to find like this. A bit of a sentimental copy for me as I only recently was able to upgrade this after carrying this copy around since the 1980's when I acquired it in New York as I was building my first collection. One of just a small pile I didn't sell off in the late 1990's.

Fine Plus/Very Fine Minus.  Square, super glossy and unread looking. Has some spine stress but no reader creasing and only a couple spots of wear here and there. Great page quality.

Very nice copy of the 1st pb with another awesome Stanley Meltzoff cover art. Tough to find like this.

Very Fine Minus. Just a touch less condition than the one I sold last time. Square, glossy and unread. Has a little chip at the base of spine but only a couple spots of surface and edgewear otherwise.

The Door Into Summer  by Robert Heinlein    Signet S1639  First Printing      March 1959     $25

I think the Paul Lehr cover on this, the 1st pb edition, is at the top of the heap of the Heinlein covers. Just a haunting image. .

Fine Plus Plus.  Square and glossy. Spine is tight. Has light reader crease on front and back, otherwise only a couple spots of wear. (The diagonal line from the spine down to the bottom edge on the cover is not a crease but part of the design. It always throws me when I look at copies online!)  Great page quality like the other two.

Space Cadet by Robert Heinlein    Ace 77731  2nd print of the 1st Paperback edition  September 1975     $10  SOLD to goldust40

Cover art is credited to Steele Savage inside but is signed Davis Meltzer on the painting. One of the many reasons why artist crediting can be so difficult. It's obvious that the typesetter left the credit from a former book that Savage did paint but the signature on the painting is conclusive.

This copy is a condition rarity, an amazing copy

This printing is the first one with the awesome later, uncredited cover, which I like much better than the Paul Lehr original.  

Amazingly, this is another credit error on a Heinlein major novel. It is credited to Paul Lehr inside but obviously not him. ISFDB suggests possibly Gaughan.

A very nice copy for this fat title. Fine Plus Plus. Square, glossy and looks unread  but has a chip to the base of spine and few little edge defects here and there.

Great Stanley Meltzoff cover art.   Another nice Signet, they are very tough to find without a lot of creases.

Fine Plus.  Square and glossy. Spine is tight, has slight slant, some wear to the edges. Covers are bright and glossy. Has light reader crease and some finger bending, mostly on the back and some surface wear.  Light toning to interior.  Has a factory "Signet" price sticker on front and back. Rare and cool!

Winner of the 1977 Hugo and Nebula awards for best novelette. Creepy cover art is uncredited to my knowledge.

Very Fine Minus/Very Fine. Square and glossy, appears unread. Great off white page quality. Small area of impression on back. A great copy of an early printing.
