This copy looks pretty solid overall but has some obvious chipping on the left side of the back cover. There is also a black scribble (or maybe a printing defect) on the "W" in the title on the front cover. This is clearly not color touch, but looks more like an accidental marker smudge. Otherwise an all-around nice copy.

Blunted corners with color loss, edge wear with color loss and color breaking creases by the outer corners/edges,  small (1/8" - 1/4") spine split at top, moderate spine stress with color breaking stress lines/small tears and moderate staple tears along with some vertical color breaking creasing, moderate staining/discoloration on rear cover, moderate to severe chipping on outer edge of rear cover, small tears at outer edge of rear cover, denting along edges of rear cover.

IMO, due to the staining and large pieces missing due to chipping...

The average used comic book. Cover shows moderate to significant wear, and may be loose but not completely detached. Cover reflectivity is low. Can have moderate creases or dimples. Corners may be blunted. Store stamps, name stamps, arrival dates, initials, etc. have no effect on this grade. Some discoloration, fading, foxing, and even minor soiling is allowed. As much as a 1/4" triangle can be missing out of the corner or edge; a missing 1/8" square is also acceptable. Only minor unobtrusive tape and other amateur repair allowed on otherwise high grade copies. Moderate spine roll may be present and/or a 1" spine split. Staples may be discolored. Minor to moderate staple tears and stress lines may be present, as well as some rust migration. Paper is brown but not brittle. Minor to moderate interior tears may be present. Centerfold may be loose or detached at one staple.

I might have gone as high as 6.0 without the chipping. I'm going to expect a lesser penalty b/c it's on the back, so 5.0ish.

Copy A is much better this Copy B.

Copy is 5.5.

Right on the edge of 4.5/5.0 IMO. Nice!

That back cover advertisement is crazy........................I'm gonna say 4.5    ............which means it must be a 5.0
