Pile of Deadpool 1 done in by water damage, and a mold discovery for the ages? 1 1

So came across these in a recent collection of old store stock; it's a shame as Deadpool: The Circle Chase #1 still commands a nice price in 9.8 even in Direct.  Maybe this damage could press right out?   The pages were so brittle they just tore immediately. Thankfully no newsies.  Off to the bin they went.  For your viewing disgust/sadness...

 

But then I came across a random Disney book of Little Mermaid's Sebastian:

And the height of the mold on the inside back cover could probably be measured on the mm scale, especially that central line.  In the garbage immediately.  Anyone else have any mold horror stories?
