Been Meaning to Grade this one for awhile... New Mutants #87 2 2

This is my original copy I bought back in the day... always knew it would be worth something because at the time Cable was incredibly popular but so was Rob Liefeld. The Mcfarlane cover is just icing on the cake. What would you guys estimate this grade would be pre-press and cleaning?

Looks like a few spine ticks. If no other issues that can't be seen in the photos, I'm thinking 9.0.

That's about what I'm thinking... 8.5 at the lowest. Not bad for 34 year old book I bought off the rack as wee lad.

9.0 at best. More like 8.0/8.5 with modern/copper standards. There's a 9.2 on ebay right not for $125 as a calibration

Lots of spine ticks and minor wear particularly around the corners of the spine and top edge of the front cover.

Old Rob's artwork turned out pretty good once Todd inked it.
