ASM #2 attacked by a large rodent! 1 1

Hey all...just won this in an auction pretty cheap on eBay, not in hand yet. Obviously some rat or other large critter ate a big chunk of it at some point, but the rest of the book isn't nearly as awful. Complete except for the chewed portion. I'm thinking it's likely a .5, but maybe has a shot at a 1.0? These are terrible quality pics from eBay since book isn't in hand yet, but for a book this low grade it should be enough for a rough estimate. I submit a ton of books to CGC but never one this low grade so I'm wondering if I should bother. Thoughts?

Yeah it’s. A 0.5 at best , would look better in a slab believe it or not

I'd get a color copy of the FC, slip it inside the cover and put the book in a mylar.  There is no reason to slab it.

I have absolutely no knowledge about grading but i cannot think how this is can worth more than 0.5

This is what the CGC Guide says about a 1.0: Chews, which usually affect both the cover and interior, can cover an area up to 2" x 2"

So maybe there's hope for a 1?
