It looks like minor spine stress, and I can't tell what's going on with the BRFC from the photos. So grade may go up or down depending on the situation there. My two cents... scburdet Posted December 13, 2023 Share Posted December 13, 2023 I see these lines going all the way down the book, most noticeable through the I/F and O/S of the title. Kind of weird. Like a subscription bend/crease, but not the right area. There's also a spine roll. I'd say all that should be pressable & therefore >9.0, but I don't know what those lines are there's a lot of uncertainty. I love this book and cover. I have a 9.0 with two tiny minute tears (I believe they were production cuts but I think CGC graded as flaws) and my copy got a 9.0 (flawless spine and corners). Your book def needs a press (the back shows the most help needed) but I agree that 9.4 or more is possible here and would love to see the results!
