I have bid in and won numerous items from Hakes.  Stuff I have won includes

1. Aurora model kits, probably around 30 kits total

2. Original artwork (Charles Schulz Peanuts daily)

3.  1940 Superman puzzle

I always pay via wire transfer.  Shipping has been pretty fast and their packing has been amazing.  I posted in the OA section of the boards about their most recent auction.

I used to by from Ted a lot back in the day. Always great to deal with. Since Geppi bought his business I’ve pretty much stopped.

Ted used to feature tons of “Americana” now it is mostly comics, art, sports, political and pee you Star Wars stuff…

Go where the big money is I guess but I sure miss those old auctions…

They're owned by Steve Geppi now and about as honorable as any major auction house. They carry quality items. 

Do you have any concerns with them?
