I'm caught up on PMs and David kindly offered to do clean up in the morning, so I know the spreadsheet will be up to date. I won't be around for the late morning and early afternoon, I have a prior commitment.

I like to do the updates about how much money has been raised to the penny, but I'm having a little trouble because only Jim can see the cash donations and he's been typing numbers to me, but it's hard for him, so I think we are going to estimate a little until he's a little better...which I hope will be soon.

So this number does not include some of today's cash donations, nor any books that were purchased on his thread since we all started this "Helping" thread.

I know that $4938.00 has been reported as paid for books donated. The cash amount donated as a straight cash donation I have on record (and it's more than this amount) is $3520.00.

Jim and I agreed that the total is at least $9,000.00 so far 

Which is pretty amazing when you think about it. We have a ways to go...because a good friend who is a lot better with numbers than I am, said that $20,000 was too low a goal for Jim's expenses for 7 months...and I know my friend is correct. I hope to keep this going until he has a little bit of a cushion in addition the exact $$$ needed to survive until SSI kicks in.

here's a great and underappreciated cover for jimbo.  should be an overstreet/cgc classic.  very pretty with a couple problems.  the single staple is popped.  somebody, not me, ran some glue down the interior spine to make it one piece,   there is a piece of tape on bottom edge of f.c. that you can see.  a 5.5 sold for $660 in august.  ask is $300, shipped, for our guy.

Good morning everyone! Great donations, thank you. 

I know at the start of this I asked buyers to send invoices and then when David offered to help I changed it, so there might have been some confusion. At first I was getting notes from 2 people, so I thought we'd start sending them out. However, there was at least one who was missed from the beginning group.

So...if you have not gotten an invoice, or you did one together and didn't copy me, so I know when the item is paid for...please let me know. If you already have an invoice going, just add me to the pm.  If you need me to send one, just send a note and I'll add the buyer or the donor to the pm.

Hope this makes some sense.

D-150 - The World Jones Made (Philip K ) & Agent of the Unknown (Margaret St. Clair) - Poor but readable. Pages are falling out of book. I've checked a couple times though and it appears to be complete.

D-443 - The Dark Destroyers (Manly Wade Wellman) & Bow Down to Nul (Brian W Aldiss) - VG-  Multiple non-color breaking bends on cover of Dark Destroyers. Otherwise perfectly readable.

D-449 - The Genetic General & Time to Teleport (both Gordon R Dickson) - Near Fine/Fine  Nicest of the group. Miscut cover only real issue. Bought it recently and then realized I already had a copy.

D-457 - Vulcan's Hammer (Philip K ) & The Skynappers (John Brunner) - Not sure how to grade. Looks VG+ or so but about 80 pages of Vulcan's Hammer and 20 pages of The Skynappers are no longer glued to spine. They aren't loose yet, but they have broken away from the spine. Also some chips out of top cover Vulcan's Hammer.

D-507 - Meeting at Infinity (John Brunner) & Beyond the Silver Sky (Kenneth Bulmer) - VG+ This one would be nicer if it had been shipped to me in a box. The bottom right corner of Beyond the Silver Sky got dinged and bent during shipment. Otherwise it is a really nice copy.

Additional note: If someone is interested in this lot, I also have readers copies of Ace H-30 City by Clifford Simak and Ace D-261 The Variable Man and Other Stories by Philip K . The Variable Man has some loose pages at the beginning, but is complete. I will add these to the lot if someone wants them. 

The photos are a little yellow. Color is better than photos show.

Edgar Rice Burroughs lot - all Frazetta covers!

The two Ace Tarzan books are in Good reader condition. I thought Return of the Mucker was around VG shape, but when I pulled it out to take a photo, it has some loose pages unfortunately. Still decent reader though. 

Again, photo is more yellow than books actually are.
