too bad. it gets dangerous up there especially when rushed (to save time and money) which is all the time

Wonder what federal investigation will reveal? Who knows, maybe he was goofing around and fell.

RIP brother

I in the Hollywood industry myself. Everyone thinks of the top actors and not remember the others who put on the show. Rest in peace to your friend.

Very sad and horrible.

@NoMan the first 2 words "too bad" of your post, while not your intention, to some may be taken as being non-caring

yeah ok. I'll change it. I meant it's sad.

always and without fail.

Chances are very good this guy was busting his butt, working impossible hours and cutting corners (and if he didn't cut corners to save time and complained, he would be fired) so someone "above the line" could make more money.

by all accounts he was a great guy. An Iraq war vet, solid good person. A rarity in the film biz, and the world in general.

he fell through a rotted piece of wood on the cat walk. fell from 40-60 feet onto concrete. un f-ing believable

No, you don't have to wear a harness while on the cat walks because it's suppose to be safe with solid wood walkways, knee rails, and hand rails

Way to go Manhattan Beach Studios (owners of Radford studios). Hope you saved some cash with your sh---- ty safety work

If that is true then OSHA will be all over them, and if OSHA fines them for work place safety then the civil lawsuit has as extremely good chance of making them pay.
