Not sure if the current owner is public knowledge, but I got to see the cover in person about a year and a half ago at a collector's house. It's a cool piece. Gotta agree with you on the composition.

Many, many years ago Philippe Queveau had the original cover to Silver Surfer 3 posted on his CAF.

I remember seeing the SS 2 cover at auction--had a lot of paste-up/ re-positioning, surprisingly for such an elegant end composition.
