I found this tucked away in a 1972 DC, but it's obviously later than that. It's a strange mix of characters. No X-Men, no Thor. I'm trying to date it but could use some help.lt appears to be cut out of a newspaper, but has no TM info.

The Ms Marvel image is from her newer costume created 10/78, the Iron Man image is from issue #110 also from 1978. They look like the 2 newest images to me, so starting point would be 10/78 or beyond.

Thank you.  That is why I put it in copper, but it is strange there are no X-Men. The inclusion of Tigra and Magneto strikes me as odd.

well from the iron fist figure, it looks like the art was in the corner box, which made me look at the others that might look the same way for them?

Maybe try googling "corner box art print 1970's?"

"marvel comics corner box figure art" art print "1980's" "destroy spider-man my puppet" - Search Images (bing.com)

No, I had no luck with that either, even with the tagline from Iron Man lol I thought perhaps it was an ad page but idk

The word bubble is from the cover of FF 207 (cover date June, 1979, on sale in March). Torch vs Spidey with no Iron Man in sight.

Thanks for the help.  I still think it is an eclectic group of mostly B characters, and I can't figure out what it would be used for.

This really feels like fanzine material to me. If so, that's going to make tracking it down... daunting.

Man, my guesses are not playing out on this. Is the other side of the page completely blank? The fact that it's been (apparently) cut down and is bereft of any sort of identifying markings is particularly brutal.

I can tell you some places it's not from though. It's not from Alter Ego (including their John Buscema retrospective issue). It's not from Comic Crusader. It's not from any of the Marvel 'Con books. And, based on when some of the individual images have been dated to, it's not from John Buscema's Comic Book Workshop Showcase. I am 95% certain that it isn't from the 1979 Comic Art Convention book, either.
