Colors and corners look good. Some spine ticks though. I'm thinking 9.2? Trying to get a handle on how spine ticks downgrade a book. Thanks for grades on this.

I count 5-6 spine ticks, minor tear near bottom staple, plus blunt corners on spine top and bottom. Somewhere in the 8.0-9.0 range? Curious what more experienced folks think.

Thanks very much for the detail on what you're marking down for. Spine ticks I'm guessing are the major factor driving the grade down. It's tough gauging how much to take off for them though. Probably depends more on how many and how severe they are which is subjective. I'm guessing marking down .75-1 just for these particular ticks.
