UPDATE : JSA offered a $700 credit to cover their mistake. Seemed pretty fair to me!

Which was the mistake?  Their first impression or the second?  How much did that first opinion cost?

If I obtained a signature myself, I couldn’t care less what any “authenticator” says about it.  It’s mine, I was there… I don’t need a label.

When it comes to CGC/JSA authentication, this incident just proves it means nothing.

So, if they have “gotten better with time” then they should have been inconclusive seven years ago… instead of taking the money…

So what says they won’t authenticate my signature “today” only to “improve” in a few more years then say it's no longer authentic?

Unless it’s 100% witnessed/verified, it shouldn’t be getting any type of yellow/authentic label.

CGC is just so so so greedy!  I guess in-house signings just weren’t enough for them.

"Two JSA authenticated pieces sold recently on eBay for $1,580 and $1,350. PSA authenticated pieces have recently sold on eBay for $2,400, $1,800, $1,598, $2,875 and $2,000"

......and-people-think-they-can-get-authentic-Jacko-for-200$-from-forgers......lol

Unfortunately noobs are naive to this hobby
