Hi guys,

A little big something is on it's way:

http://qurls.com?i=54295

As a big fan of the (underrated)1992 retooling of the Justice League books,

I'm happy to add yet another key piece from it's introduction.

This piece was first used for an official "Justice League month" tie-in T-shirt,

which was advertised alongside the various books which came out that month

(not too often for a shirt to by hyped in house ads and such).

The art later (?) appeared as the cover for COMICS SCENE #26.

The issue had some great interviews and previews relating to the (then)

recharging of the Justice League and is a fun read.

The characters appearing here don't represent a specific line-up,

but feature a mix some of the more popular members of Justice League America

and Justice League Europe.

I consider this as one of the best representatives of Ron Randall's art from

that era - having a bit of stylistic continuity with Bart Sears (it didn't hurt

that it was kept by Sears usual inker, Randy Elliott), but having a more "grounded"

style which hearkens a bit to Adam Hughes and Kevin Maguire's past works.

The positioning is a straight forward group shot, with Superman, Batman,

Green Lantern, Flash and Aquaman front and center (a la SUPER FRIENDS),

but the characters themselves are truly well drawn, filled with enough nuances

and expression to keep things interesting and give you a hint about the

personalities of those people.

I hope you'd enjoy it as much as I do and please check the 'additional images'

for scans of the published cover and the actual T-shirt.

As always, comments are welcome and appreciated !

Thanks for taking a look,

Gal

Wolverine Limited Series #3 page 25 by Frank Miller & Joe Rubinstein.

I bought this page at a NYC Comic Convention back in the 80s and just framed it for my son to hang on the wall of his bedroom. I figured I'd make a copy of it and post it here as well.

See, he never comes out to the west coast. You're so lucky.

I think if you can afford a Kubert piece you can probably afford a trip to NYC?
